More and more visitors to Cyprus are now buying properties on the island. It is particularly popular with British people. In fact some places now have more expat Brits living in the villages than native Cypriots.

The demand for properties does pose some problems for the island, in terms of water issues, environmental pressures, and of course of increasing prices.

Although property prices in Cyprus are not cheap, they still offer better value for money than a comparable property in the UK.

The demand for property in this end of the island has been met by the growth in the number of developers (builders), and numerous companies now build and sell properties. Most budgets are catered for, from apartments to large detached properties.
